Justified Quartet originated in Hot Springs, AR out of Center Fork Baptist Church in 2004. it began with Paul Halbert, Craig Cowart, Clint Rickett, and Andy Almand.  Just recently Andy left the group to continue his education.  The quartet is now made up of Paul Halbert who sings bass, Clint Rickett singing baritone, Craig Cowart on the lead and newest member, Kee Kratz singing tenor.  The quartet began in 2004 practicing to sing specials at Center Fork where Paul was serving as Minister of Music.  The more they sang together, it became evident that the Lord had more in store for them.

From their early beginning at Center Fork, God has blessed them with abundant opportunities to use their talents for Him. Their first official concert was given at a small country church in Hog Jaw, AR.  Since then, Justified has had the privilege of representing their Lord at many churches and civic events all across Arkansas.  Justified has also had the opportunity to share the stage with some great southern gospel groups such as Palmetto State and Gold City as well as other regional groups.

In 2007, Justified recorded their first CD with Ouachita Hills Sound in Malvern, AR.  That CD was titled Justified.  It was made up of familiar cover songs that we all enjoyed singing.  That CD was well received by listeners and sold well over 1000 copies.

In 2009, Justified recorded their second CD with the Eddie Crook Co. in Nashville, TN.  The title of that CD is Shoutin’ Glory.  It is an all original project that was recorded at the TBN studios with producer Scott Godsey.  That recording was also very well received and had their first radio single “Shoutin’ Glory” released with it under the Morning Star Records label.

In 2011, Justified recorded their third CD titled From Here to Heaven.  It was recorded at Homeland Inspiration Group Studios in Nashville, TN with producer Scott Godsey.  This CD contains the radio single “From Here to Heaven,” that was released to over 500 radio stations nationwide under the Heartwarming Records label.  The feedback received from this project has been very positive.  The radio single has made it to as high as #8 at a few different radio stations around the nation.

In 2013, Justified recorded their fourth CD titled Old Time Religion. It was recorded at TML Sound in White Hall, AR.  This CD contains some of the all time favorite hymns people love to sing along with.  Titles include: I'm Getting Ready, Just A Little Talk With Jesus, I've Got That Old Time Religion, and many more!

In 2014, Justified recorded their fifth CD titled Soul Soother. It was recorded at Raney Recording Studios in Drasco, AR using some of the finest musicians around! The Lord brought Justified together with Phillips and Phillips music along with Buddy and Ina Gore to record some of the best and most powerful songs ever heard.  Some of those song include Storm Smoother, Tugged on the Prayer Chain and Let It Rain On Me.

In 2016, Justified recorded their sixth CD titled Highly Favored.  The guys returned to TML Sound in White Hall, AR and the project turned out awesome!  The CD features some of the most concert requested songs along with some new favorites.  As Children of God we are Highly Favored along with this collection of songs.

In 2017, Justified began a new journey in their ministry as a trio. Their seventh CD appropriately titled A New Journey was recorded in 2018 at TML Sound.  From timeless classics like Through It All and I Can't Even Walk to newer titles like Say Amen and God's Great you won't find any better three part harmony!

The focus of Justified Quartet’s ministry has always been representing and worshiping The One who is worthy.  They strive to honor God in all that they do and say whether on stage or off.  God has blessed the group immensely and continues to pour out his abundance upon them.

After 12 years as a quartet, in November of 2016, Justified Quartet transitioned to a trio. Bro. Paul Halbert decided to retire from the group and pursue a more relaxed style of living.  Justified will be continuing to seek God's guidance in regards to filling the bass position.  We covet your prayers  and trust that the Lord will continue to use our group for His Honor and Glory.
